Tapestry Records - Tapestry 001
(Coming Soon) Tapestry Records is an upcoming compilation project based out of Montreal. Its first release is a collection of mix-friendly DJ tools. Numbered Tapestry releases will be a recurring series of compiled and collaborative mixtapes that celebrate left-field, challenging, and ambient dance music.

Promotional design for Sawa House and SUKO Magazine’s collaborative gallery show held for the Rentrée de Gaspé exhibition. The work of seven artists from past issues of SUKO were shown as a retrospective on SUKO Magazine’s curation.
Promotional design for the show was made to match a new set of stickers SUKO has for sale.

[NEW] sukomag.com Complete redesign of SUKO Magazine’s website. Added blog functionality allows SUKO to publish articles in-between print issues. Built on three vertical scrolls, the desktop homepage allows users to find relevant info about each print volume, info on the team, and recent news from the editors. The mobile site maintains a similar functionality, with overlapping scrolling accessible through a simplified main header.

SUKO Magazine, Vol. 3 (2024) Layout and print design in collaboration with Lauren Kim and Fernanda Larrain. For the third issue of SUKO, the team hosted release parties in both Montreal and Toronto, supported by It’s OK* Studios, Sounds Good Toronto, Bar Sparrow, and Zamalek.

FASA Concordia Currently designing print and web-based content for FASA, and redesigned the organization's logo and branding. FASA’s style-guide is centred around playful use of archival imagery and clean-yet-approachable typography.

Art Matters Festival 2025 Current head of design for the Art Matters Festival. Created designs for print, web, and on-site use. Built the current website in Cargo, created a printed festival publication, and created a new universal style-guide, including the current logo. Designs were coordinated with associated organizations, including FASA, Livart, Dieu du Ciel, POP Montreal, Zamalek, and others.

Art Matters’ 25th edition had a pre-determined material theme of ‘silver,’ which guided many early decisions in the creation of the visual identity.
The logo’s layered waveform design was inspired from documentation the festival coordinators provided, which charted visual stimuli in both computer-vision and the human eye. The show’s eventual subtitle was ‘Adapted Visions,’ so the idea of creating a festival logo from these sources came together quickly.
A program guide was made for distribution at the festival’s events. It contained information about the venues and artists, and had a page for collecting ink stamps at each of the shows.

Symbols, 2024.
An audiovideo installation loosely adapting Juan Eduardo Cirlot’s A Dictionary of Symbols. Archival images are paired by subject, creating a wholistic look at the varied contexts of cultural imagery. The piece attempts to highlight the ‘flattening’ effect archives have on art history, reckoning with the role of museums and archeology as institutions which rob artworks of their own context.

Designed promotional posters for e-motion, a recurring techno and house mix series hosted by WASIE, Patience Girl, Monsieurmadam and Glyphbound (Tom Adshead).

SUKO Magazine, Vol. 2 (2023) Layout and print design in collaboration with Lauren Kim. This issue features an interview between myself and Min-Jia Guo, who I also designed the spread for.

VAV Gallery
Head of Design for 2022-2023 at the gallery. Designed print, social media, and web-based material for promoting events. Designs were coordinated with the artists of each event. Rebuilt the gallery site in Squarespace.

Layout and print designer for the first volume of SUKO Magazine. Developed the initial styleguide, which was adapted for use in the second and third issues.

Concordia Film Festival 2022
Designed graphics for web and print during the promotional run of the CFF’s 49th edition. Material was made for the festival and its associated events, such as director talks, workshops, and roundtables.
The style-guide was focused on clear, centralised type that makes up the general shape of the composition.

The official festival poster has an original digital illustration by myself (though I rarely illustrate in this style).
